Keller Grover filed this wage and hour class action lawsuit on February 17, 2006 against Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation and Golden Gate Doughnuts alleging that they misclassified store managers in California as exempt from overtime in violation of California law. The lawsuit sought to recover damages for the unpaid overtime work, as well as compensation for missed meal periods and rest breaks, and failure to pay wages upon termination.
On October 1, 2010, Keller Grover settled on behalf of the class members with Krispy Kreme for $950,000.
