High Court Favors WalMart in Employment Dispute

The conservatively skewed Supreme Court has ruled in WalMart's favor in a 10-year old discrimination case that will affect employees' access to the courts.

Once again, Bush appointees on the Supreme Court favor business over individual rights. This time, the Supreme Court overturned 30 years of law and made it harder to bring class actions of many types, making it easier for corporations to avoid liability for wide scale wrongdoing. It will now be very difficult to bring certain types of employment dispute class actions, especially in the areas of race and sex discrimination and unequal pay. So has justice really been served?
